ELGIN, IL – Five people were injured Thursday afternoon after two cars collided near the intersection of South McLean Boulevard and Carr Street in Elgin, police said. The Daily Herald reports no one was seriously injured. The intersection was closed for about an hour following the crash and the collision remains under investigation.
