Advocate Health Care opens new care center in South Elgin
Advocate Health Care's brand-new 36,800 square-foot immediate care center and outpatient center in South Elgin opens January 22, 2024.
Advocate Health Care’s brand-new immediate care center and outpatient center in South Elgin opens January 22. The 36,800 square-foot facility includes immediate care, primary care, endocrinology, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, orthopedics, laboratory, x-ray, mammography, ultrasound, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
“Access is key when it comes to patient care,” said Dr. Ruchi Parikh, a family medicine physician at Advocate Health Care. “We are pleased to meet the community where they are at in this established retail location on Randall Road.”
“Our immediate care center provides care for minor health issues that require urgent attention but aren’t an emergency, such as fevers, respiratory tract infections, sore throats or minor injuries like sprains and cuts,” shared Dr. John Lanciloti, an immediate care physician at Advocate Health Care. “We’re open seven days a week, offering a convenient option after hours or if you can't get in to see your primary care provider.”

“Our patients are at the center of everything we do,” said Sheri De Shazo, President of Advocate Sherman Hospital. “We are confident our new immediate care and outpatient location will provide high-quality care to South Elgin and the surrounding communities.”
“I’m excited to begin seeing patients at the new South Elgin location,” said Dr. Lily Hsieh, a general surgeon specializing in endocrine surgery and robotic surgery at Advocate Health Care. “The addition of endocrinology alongside obstetrics and gynecology and primary care allows us to provide patients with more comprehensive care close to home.”

The $15 million facility located at 486B South Randall Road replaces the previous South Elgin location at 2000 McDonald Road.
The Advocate Immediate Center – South Elgin is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more and schedule an appointment at the Advocate Outpatient Center – South Elgin, call 847-468-1206.
