• South Elgin Man Learns Sentence For Dissemination Of Child Pornography: Mosser (patch.com) — Residents in and around Elgin are learning that a 47-year-old South Elgin man has been sentenced to 14 years in state prison for sending a video of child sexual abuse to an undercover Kane County investigator. He will receive credit for time already served in the county jail, is eligible for day-for-day sentencing, and must register as a sex offender for life.
