Elgin Community College to Host Annual College Night on October 21

ELGIN, Ill., September 22, 2026 — Elgin Community College (ECC) will welcome more than 150 colleges and universities to its annual College Night on Wednesday, October 21, from 6 to 8 pm in the Building J Events Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, Illinois.

This free event is open to current college students, high school students, and prospective students and their families. Attendees can connect directly with representatives from in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities to learn more about transfer options, admission requirements, academic programs, scholarships, and campus life.

"College Night is a great opportunity for students to explore their options and learn about different colleges and universities all in one place, without having to travel far," said Elizabeth Herrera, director of student recruitment and outreach at the college. "They can connect with college representatives, ask questions, compare programs, and begin narrowing down what schools may be the right fit for them."

The free event is sponsored by the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) in partnership with ECC and other area schools.
