The Bartlett Public Library District will be closed effective starting at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020 through March 30, 2020, with a tentative opening date of March 31, 2020. It’s recommended that patrons check the Library’s website or social media sites for the latest Library news. Please note that this is not due to any COVID-19 cases, it is a preventative measure for the health and safety of patrons and staff members.
Here are important changes the public needs to be aware of:
-During this time, the book drop will be closed, meaning patrons will not be able to return Library materials. Patrons are encouraged to keep Library materials at home for now. Because of this measure, overdue fines will be forgiven when the Library reopens.

-The Library’s services of Museum Adventure Passes and Explore More Illinois are being suspended during this time.
-When the Library reopens, staff will work to sanitize materials being checked-in.
-The Board of Trustees passed a Pandemic Response Policy & Procedures document at the Board Meeting on Monday, March 16, 2020, which outlines steps the Library will take in case of a pandemic.
-The election on March 17, 2020 will still be held in the Meeting Room, though the rest of the building will be closed.
-If there are any questions, contact askus@bartlettlibrary.org or message the Library through their social media channels.
