Bear Family McDonald’s helping kids head back to school

Families receive help with back to school supplies from McDonald's Franchise Owner-Operator David Bear and the Bear Family

David Bear and the Bear Family Restaurants are doing their part to make sure students are prepared for the upcoming school year.

With the close of summer drawing near and a new school year ahead, more than 475 students lined up in four different McDonald’s restaurant that are Owned and Operated by David Bear. This was to receive backpacks and school supplies at local McDonald’s School Supply Backpack Giveaway events.

In addition to supplies, students also received Free Happy Meal Coupons. During each event a Banner was displayed for the children to write what they feel Grateful for in their life. The Bear Family plans to hang these banners in the office after the Backpack events are completed. David Bear Said "It is wonderful to see young children articulate the things they feel most Grateful for and to be a part of that is really heart warming."
