Support local theatre and PADS of Elgin with a special benefit performance of Bullets, Nickels, Dimes and Life by Jeremy Kehoe.
Directed by Pat Henderson, the production runs October 9–11 at Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley, 56 S. Grove Ave. in Elgin. The Friday, October 9 performance will benefit PADS of Elgin, with additional proceeds from the production also supporting the organization.
Guests attending Friday’s performance are invited to a complimentary reception catered by Sugar & Rhyme Coffeehouse beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by the performance at 7 p.m.
The benefit takes place just ahead of World Homeless Day on October 10, offering audiences a chance to enjoy live theatre while supporting PADS of Elgin’s year-round shelter, meals, outreach and housing-focused services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Northern Kane County.
The cast recently visited PADS of Elgin for a shelter tour before rehearsal, giving performers an opportunity to learn more about the organization and the community their benefit performance will support.
