Century Oaks Teachers are “Ba Da Ba Ba Bah, Lovin' it” McDonald's
Century Oaks Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school.
Elgin|Century Oaks Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school.
Teachers and support staff from Century Oaks volunteered behind the counter on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, at the Elgin McDonald's located on McLean Blvd. Where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.
The Century Oaks staff members worked various jobs throughout the restaurant during this three-hour fundraising event. These jobs included, wearing an apple pie costume, apple pie seller, making ice cream treats, Front counter helper, delivering meals to customers, calling out orders, and working the drive-thru.

The proceeds from the 240 Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit the School, as well as Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales.
David Bear, Owner/Operator of the Elgin McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.

"We are proud to serve the families of the Elgin community through the McTeacher's Night event," Bear continued. "In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community."
