Chamber Women In Business offers 2025 Scholarships
High school and college students can apply
The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business (WIB) Dollars for Scholars® is seeking applicants to award multiple $1,000 scholarships this year to current high school seniors or college students who reside in the Chamber’s market areas of Carpentersville, East Dundee, Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow, and West Dundee.
Applicants are requested to complete an application process at www.nkccwib.dollarsforscholars.org. Deadline for completed applications is Monday, March 31, 2025 at 5:00pm. For information, call the chamber office at (847) 426-8565.

Candidates will be evaluated equitably on all aspects of their application including financial need and any special circumstances.
The WIB scholarship committee will review applications and contact finalists for interviews by
Monday, April 7, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be selected no later than Friday, April 18, 2025.

Scholarships are funded through the support of the Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce and WIB members by fundraising efforts at the Women In Business monthly luncheons and the annual Holiday Luncheon held in December. WIB accepts corporate donation from area businesses and foundations. As a chapter of Dollars for Scholars®, a program of Scholarship America®, the local chapter is a non-profit tax exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization and therefore a publicly supported charity. Corporate donations to the NKCC Women in Business Dollars for Scholars® chapter are fully tax deductable.
A presentation of the annual Scholarship Awards luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Elgin Community College, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.
