Chesterbrook Academy Donates $1,000 to Camp Out From Cancer

Chesterbrook Academy held a bake sale to raise money for the organization, which provides care packages for children who are fighting cancer

Summer Campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Bartlett recently donated more than $1,000 to Camp Out From Cancer, a nonprofit organization based in Illinois. The week of June 18, campers held a bake sale to raise money for the organization. The funds raised will help provide care packages for children who are fighting cancer in the U.S. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping children in need.

Camp Out From Cancer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded by Isaac Parris with the help of his family after he finished treatment for brain cancer. Each care package is hand-packed by Isaac, his sister Ivy, and their friends and family. For more information, visit www.campoutfromcancer.com.
