Coach Brough Gun To Bartlett HS Football Game: Police
Police say the gun fell out of his backpack during pregame warmups at the high school before somebody called it in.

BARTLETT, IL — A volunteer football coach was arrested at Bartlett High School Friday for carrying a firearm onto school grounds, police say. The Daily Herald reports police as saying Peter Naughton, 36, dropped the gun from his backpack during pregame warmups.
Naughton, of the 2600 block of West Superior Street in Chicago, is now facing a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon in a prohibited area.
Police arrived Friday around 6 p.m. to the Bartlett High School Activities Complex, the Herald reports, after getting the report that somebody had found an unloaded firearm.

Naughton is expected in court on Oct. 23 in Wheaton. He was released on $1,500 bond.
