ECC Seeks Community Feedback

Elgin Community College has contracted with CLARUS Corporation to assist in refining the messaging for our college. As a valued member of the ECC community, and as part of an ongoing effort to ensure that the college is communicating effectively to its constituents, ECC is seeking community members within District 509 to participate in listening sessions on the following date(s)/time(s):

• Wednesday, October 5, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (boxed lunch will be provided)
• Thursday, October 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (snacks will be provided)

CLARUS will ask you to share your thoughts about four major areas.

• Descriptors of the college used (both positive and negative) internally and externally
• Unique strengths of the college
• Icons and images that describe the college - internally and externally
• Competition for the college and misperceptions about the college - both positive and negative from internal and external constituents

The purpose of the listening session is to improve our communication with you, our constituents.
