Elgin Area Chamber Of Commerce: Wing Park Pool Opens For Season June 5

Elgin, IL -  The City of Elgin Parks and Recreation Department announces the opening of the Wing Park Family Aquatic Center on Saturday, June 5. The pool will be open through Sunday, August 8. Hours of operation 
Open swim: Sunday-Thursday 12:00-6:00 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 12:00-7:30 p.m.
Lap swim: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Morning rentals: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Evening rentals: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Friday, Saturday 8:00-10:00 p.m.

Season passes will not be offered this season; open swim and lap swim will be by daily admissions only. Find admission fees and more information at cityofelgin.org/wingparkpool.

The Wing Park Family Aquatic Center will open with operations following the Restore Illinois Plan's Bridge Phase guidelines, which allows for 60% capacity. Unvaccinated guests are required to wear masks when they are not engaging in swimming activities. Staff is prepared to adjust operations once the state enters Phase 5, expected on June 11, removing current capacity limits.
