Elgin Police Investigate Armed Robbery

ELGIN, IL —The Elgin Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened in the 1600 block of Mulberry Court. Two men are accused of knocking down a male victim, pulling a handgun out and then robbing him of his personal belongings, according to a post on the Elgin Police Department Facebook page.

The suspects fled on foot, police said. The armed robbery happened at about 9:20 p.m. and remains under investigation.
