Elgin Police Investigating Monday Night Shooting

ELGIN, IL –The Elgin Police Department is investigating a reported shooting that occurred Monday night in the 600 block of Brook Street in Elgin, according to a post on the Elgin Police Department Facebook page. No one was shot, authorities said, "but evidence of a shooting was located." The Elgin Police Department gang unit was called to the scene.

The shooting remains under investigation, police said.
