Elgin Woman Charged In Hotel Fire
The woman is accused of starting a room at the WoodSprings Suites extended stay-hotel on fire.
DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — An Elgin woman who allegedly started a mattress on fire inside a Carol Stream hotel room, and then blocked the door to the room, is being held on a $50,000 bail in the DuPage County case, according to the Daily Herald. Sonja Bell, 55, is accused of starting the fire in a room at the WoodSprings Suites extended stay-hotel, 1160 N. Gary Avenue, on April 15.
She is next expected in court on Dec. 16.
