Elgin Woman Wins $96K In Grand Victoria Casino Giveaway

ELGIN, IL — A woman from Elgin was the winner of $96,000 in Saturday's Queen of Hearts Giveaway at Grand Victoria Casino. Kerry K.uncovered the much-coveted Queen of Hearts card, and was shocked when she realized how much she won. Kerry then texted her mom and her husband, both of whom were initially incredulous.

“At first, you don’t believe it’s true, and then, I thought, Wow! That’s a lot of money!” she said in a statement. “My husband and I are buying a new house so we’ll do something fun with it. We’ll really enjoy it!”

Kerry said she enjoys playing at Grand Victoria Casino because of its friendly atmosphere.

“The people here are so nice! Everybody’s always so welcoming, and we have a good time! And all the other players are fun, too."

Other winners announced Saturday include Thomas D. of Geneva and Sandra P. of Elgin, both of whom won $10,000 each. Grand Victoria Casino gave away over $252,000 to twenty winners during the month-long promotion.

This November, Grand Victoria will be giving away cash prizes and a brand new 2018 Ford F-150 during its Drop Down for a Pick-Up Giveaway. Drawings will be held every Friday in November. And on Wednesday, Nov. 7 and 14, players can win up to $500 cash in the $40,000 Autumn Earnings Cash Giveaway.
