"An Unforgettable Nat King Cole Christmas" comes to the ECC Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 6.

Acclaimed Chicago actor Evan Tyrone Martin will perform a festive cocktail of holiday hits during “An Unforgettable Nat King Cole Christmas” at the ECC Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 6. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. This concert is presented by Artists Lounge Live.
With velvety vocals and debonair charm, Martin celebrates both a music legend and the holidays during this evening of story and song. While performing beloved Nat King Cole classics including “The Christmas Song,” “L-O-V-E,” “Mona Lisa,” and “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth,” Martin also intimately relates Cole’s personal journey.
Since arriving on the Chicago performance scene, Evan Tyrone Martin has quickly emerged as a talent to watch. His outstanding theatre credits nationwide include the world premiere of the critically acclaimed new musical “The Black Clown,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Oklahoma,” “Hair,” “Dreamgirls,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Rent,” “The Color Purple,” and “Side Show.” Martin was highlighted by the Chicago Tribune as "Destined for Stardom: One of the Hot New Faces of Chicago Theatre" and received a Chicago Magazine shout out as one of "Five Chicago Actors Who Could Win Tonys Someday." Sacramento Cultural Hub praises, "No one alive sings Nat King Cole’s 'Nature Boy' as well as Evan Tyrone Martin.”

This concert is presented by Artists Lounge Live. Created by Michael and Angela Ingersoll, Artists Lounge Live is a dynamic concert series featuring popular music of yesterday performed live by tremendous talents of today. Rising stars of stage and screen pay homage to the icons that influenced them in emotional evenings of storytelling and song.
