Hampshire Woman, Toddler Hurt In Fatal Kane Co. Crash
A Montgomery woman was killed in the same crash that happened west of St. Charles on Sunday night.

KANE COUNTY, IL — A 54-year-old woman from Montgomery was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in unincorporated Campton Township, Kane County authorities said. Police said at around 11:30 p.m., Linda Clark was heading south on Route 47 south of Beith Road in a Honda Civic when for unknown reasons, she crossed the center line and struck a northbound Toyota Highlander.
Clark was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the Kane County Sheriff's Office.The driver of the Toyota, a 29-year-old Hampshire woman, and her 1-year-old son were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Kane County Sheriff's deputies and members of the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team. No citations have been issued.

Route 47 was closed between Beith Road and Route 38 until approximately 4:45 a.m. Monday while the crash was being investigated.
