ECC welcomes Jeremy T. Wilson as the guest for the next Writers Center Reading Series on Thursday, March 12, 2020.

Elgin Community College welcomes Jeremy T. Wilson as the guest for the next Writers Center Reading Series on Thursday, March 12, 2020. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the ECC Arts Center, Building H, Room H142, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.
Wilson is the author of the short story collection “Adult Teeth” (Tortoise Books, 2018). He is a former winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Nelson Algren Award for short fiction, and his stories have appeared or are forthcoming in literary magazines such as The Carolina Quarterly, The Florida Review, Hobart, Sonora Review, Third Coast, and other publications.
He holds an MFA from Northwestern University and teaches creative writing at The Chicago High School for the Arts.

All Writers Center readings are free and open to the public. A pre-reading dinner with Wilson will be held at 5:30 p.m. Books will be available for sale and signing. For dinner reservations or more information, please contact Rachael Stewart at rstewart@elgin.edu.
The final guest for the spring series is Elgin’s Poet Laureate, Chasity Gunn, on April 23, 2020.
