Kane Co. Mobile Clerk's Office Is In Elgin This Month

A mobile office will be set up in Elgin on April 12.

ELGIN, IL – Elgin area residents will have the opportunity to apply for marriage and civil union licenses or register to vote without having to drive to Geneva when the Kane County Clerk's Office sets up a mobile office this month in Elgin. The clerk's office will set up shop at the Elgin Township office, 729 S. McClean Boulevard, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 12. The services will not be offered from noon to 1 p.m. as the mobile office will be closed for lunch.

Those who stop out can request copies of birth and death certificates, apply for marriage and civil union licenses, register to vote and have access to many services provided by the clerk's office.
