Kiwanis Club of Elgin Requests Proposals

For 104 years the Kiwanis Club of Elgin has raised money to help fund Elgin area organizations. The club is composed entirely of civic minded volunteers who raise funds throughout the year organizing fundraising activities that include multiple pancake breakfasts, running the beer tent at the Elgin Fox Trot and Elgin Cycling Classic events and a barbeque in August. Requests for funding should clearly identify the specifics of the program, how the program benefits children in Elgin, the nature and mission of the organization, and the amount of proprosed funding requested. Submissions should be sent in writing to the 2023-2024 club president, John Steffen, by mail at 17 Douglas Avenue, Elgin, IL 60120 or by email at elginkiwanisbenevolence@gmail.com.
