Loaded Gun Found On Suspected Drunk Driver In Bartlett
Police say a South Elgin man was asleep at the wheel at a busy intersection before they found the gun in the car's center console.

BARTLETT, IL - A loaded firearm was found on a man suspected of driving drunk in Bartlett last week, police in the northwest suburb have said. Henrique Trevino, 52, of South Elgin faces misdemeanor driving under the influence and unlawful use of a weapon charges in connection with an incident reported at Route 59 and Stearns Road Friday night, according to a report from the Daily Herald.
Trevino fell asleep behind the wheel while intoxicated at the busy intersection just before 11:10 p.m., police said. After they searched the car, a 2004 GMC Canyon pickup truck, police say the gun was found in the center console.
