Fellow PBS television favorites for “Under the Streetlamp” and former “Jersey Boys” co-stars Michael Ingersoll and Christopher Kale Jones reunite on stage at the Elgin Community College Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 8, to perform their concert “Lean On Me: The Brotherhood of Rock and Roll.”
During this celebration of friendship and music, Ingersoll and Jones will treat the audience to musical hits by The Everly Brothers, The Righteous Brothers, The Beatles, and many more. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Ingersoll and Jones met while performing in “Jersey Boys.” Ingersoll starred as Nick Massi with the original Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles casts, while Jones starred as Frankie Valli with the original San Francisco, Los Angeles, and First National Tour casts. Favorites of PBS audiences, the two pals toured nationwide performing with the retro-rock vocal group Under the Streetlamp and co-starred in the quartet’s multiple PBS concert specials.

This concert is presented by Artists Lounge Live. Created by Michael and Angela Ingersoll, Artists Lounge Live is a dynamic concert series featuring popular music of yesterday performed live by tremendous talent of today. Rising stars of stage and screen pay homage to the icons that influenced them in emotional evenings of storytelling and song.
