Mother Of 4 Killed In Crash While Pushing Car: Reports

The mother of four, who was reportedly pregnant, was helping push an Oldsmobile in Streamwood when a pickup ran into her from the rear.

STREAMWOOD, IL — A Glendale Heights mother was killed Monday in Streamwood while pushing a car on Lake Street, according to police. Aries Cobian, 29, was killed when a pick up hit her and the car she was pushing.

WLS reported Cobian and her cousin were pushing an Oldsmobile around 7:30 p.m. Monday on Lake Street near South Park Avenue when a pickup, coming eastbound, hit her, also rear-ending the Oldsmobile.

Cobian was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center, WLS reports, where she later died. She was a mother of four, and pregnant, a friend told WLS.

Neither the pickup driver nor Cobian's cousin were hurt, reportedly.

The crash is still under investigation by the Streamwood Police Department and the Serious Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team, police said in a release.

Police haven't issued any citations over the collision, WLS reports.
