Oak Crest “Take a Bough” event creates new holiday decor
Recycle and renew holiday decor! Create something new! Bring your friends and have a great time!

Do you have holiday decor that’s just sitting in a box? Give it a new life! Join the fun, make new friends, and enjoy a delicious lunch, too.
Bring your favorite holiday extras to be re-imagined into something new for this year’s festivities
at the “Take A Bough” craft event at The Atrium at Oak Crest in Elgin on Thursday, December 19 from 10:00 am to noon; lunch from noon to 1:00pm.
A $10.00 donation includes a creative morning of crafting a new wreath or table arrangement followed by a freshly prepared lunch.

“It’s a great way to re-purpose and recycle beloved holiday items,” said Executive Director Susan Cincinelli. “There are so many possibilities to unleash your crafty imagination.. We’ll have plenty of additional pieces to make your project a success. ”
Guests will leave the event with a brand new arrangement they can take home to keep for themselves or gift a family member or friend.
