Police Uncover Drugs In Search of Elgin Home

ELGIN, IL — Police in Elgin recovered drugs and a weapon during a search of a home in the 1800 block of Gleneagle Circle in Elgin early Thursday morning. The Elgin Police Department Drug Unit and SWAT team executed the search warrant at about 4 a.m.

The investigation is continuing and charges will be determined after the facts of the case are reviewed by the Kane County State’s Attorney’s office, according to an Elgin Police Department Facebook post.
