Teacher Suspended, Teen Severely Burned In Experiment Gone Wrong
A Bartlett High School student was injured in an experiment involving liquid nitrogen.

BARTLETT, IL — A science teacher was put on paid administrative leave after a student was severely burned in a liquid nitrogen experiment Friday at Bartlett High School, according to reports. Sources told WGN the teen suffered severe burns to his groin area after the teacher poured liquid nitrogen on him.
Another student said a small amount of liquid nitrogen was meant to be poured on the teen's chest, “(But the teacher) poured all of it on him and it instantly just burned him," WGN reported.
The incident was caught on video.
