U-46 Planetarium to Host Public Sky Shows Friday

ELGIN, IL –The U-46 Planetarium is presenting two hour-long public sky shows on Friday, May 3 at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., according to a U-46 news release. Doors open at 4 p.m. The theme for both shows will be “Sky Wars: Battle for Discovery,” and attendees will get to experience a full-dome video featuring astronomical conflicts, evidence, and discovery, as well as a tour of the current spring sky under the dome.

Admission is cash only, $3 per person, or a maximum of $10 per family. The planetarium is located at 312 Watch Street in Elgin, and there is free parking at Raymond Street and National Street, one block away.
