Upcoming free events for adults at Club 120 in Elgin
Enjoy and learn about tech talk, chair yoga, tai chi, ageless grace and de-cluttering

Following its recent successful launch of Club 120 at the Atrium at Oak Crest in Elgin, Leah Unser, community outreach director, announces its upcoming schedule of free events.
“We are pleased to embark on our new adventure of becoming Elgin’s newest adult gathering place,” said Unser, “and will continue to provide a mixture of continued popular programs like ‘tech talk’ and ‘chair yoga’ along with new monthly opportunities. We welcome everyone to attend and socialize with other community members.”

• Tuesday, January 28 and February 4 - Tech Talk at 10:00am
The Tech Talk “What Does This Button Do” virtual series is presented by Chris and Jim Guld, aka Geeks on tour. The January 28 presentation will focus on how to maneuver Google maps, navigate calendar entries, and QR codes. On February 4, learn how to make a map, open street views on Google maps, Facetime, and organizing Google photos, plus more. Attendees receive episode ledger to review at home.
• Wednesday, January 29 - Chair Yoga at 1:00pm;
Chair yoga withTheresa Burke of Traditions Health will be presented every two weeks. Chair yoga is a promising form of exercise for older adults with certain health conditions, such as arthritis.

• Thursday, January 30 - TaiChi at 4:00pm;
Tai Chi is sponsored by Oak Street Health of Elgin. It is described as meditation through motion and helps reduce stress to increase concentration, focus, flexibility, and strength.
• Wednesday, February 5 - Ageless Grace at 1:00pm;
Led by the inspiring Nancy Fioramonti Mennella, Ageless Grace will take place the first Wednesday of each month. Ageless Grace is timeless fitness for the body and brain helping mature adults live longer, healthier, happier lives. Fioramonti Mennella and her son, Joseph, own Moonlight Theatre in St. Charles, which offers live theatre, music, and comedy.
• Thursday, February 6 - De-Clutter with Phillip at 5:00pm
Presented by Caring Transitions, a nationwide company dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of downsizing, relocating, and transitioning significant life changes. Attendees will focus on this wide range topic affecting mature adults.
