Westbound Wing Street Closed For Repairs
The street is expected to be closed much of Thursday, city officials said.
ELGIN, IL -- The city of Elgin has closed westbound Wing Street at North State Street for a street repair Thursday. Road work is expected to take most of the day. Southbound traffic on State Street will be detoured west on Lawrence Avenue, north on McClure Avenue and then back to Wing Street, according to a city of Elgin Facebook post
Northbound traffic on State Street will be detoured west on Big Timber Road, south on McClean Boulevar and then back to Wing Street.
