1 Injured As Dump Truck Overturns In Eisenhower Expressway Crash: IL State Police
The Monday morning incident has slowed traffic on the highway during the morning commute, according to police.
HILLSIDE, IL — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck, which overturned, on Interstate 290 near Hillside. Illinois State Police tell Patch it occured at around 5:59 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway near Wolf Road, Hillside, and has slowed the morning commute.
CBS News is reporting the dump truck flipped over on top of the other car, spilling gravel across the highway.
Police said the injured person was taken to to a local hospital.
