2 Loud Music Complaints In Elmhurst

Woman was cited after officers visited her home three times, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to loud music complaints early Wednesday morning at two homes. Here is information from the police reports:

  • A 34-year-old Elmhurst woman was cited about 1 a.m. Wednesday at her home on a charge of causing a nuisance. Police said they were told she was playing loud music. Officers asked her to lower the music. They returned two more times for complaints of loud music. She then got the citation. She lives on the fifth floor of The Flynn apartment complex, 183 N. Addison Ave.
  • A 65-year-old man who lives in the 700 block of South Saylor Avenue in Elmhurst was cited about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home on a charge of causing a nuisance. Police said the man's detached garage door was open and that loud music was playing. The man refused to answer his door. Officers left the citation in the man's mailbox. He was cited on the same charge last month. Two days before the latest citation, the police issued the man's household a chronic nuisance warning.
