4 Charged With Stealing From Oak Brook Stores
One duo made off with $2,378 in clothing, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – Four Chicago residents were charged last week with stealing items from Oak Brook stores in separate incidents, authorities said.
The suspects were identified as Talia Martinez-Pacheco, 23; Santiago Rojas-Galea, 18; Cheryl Gryer, 26; and Daiveon Watson, 21.
Early Wednesday evening, Martinez-Pacheco and Rojas-Galea stole $2,378 worth of clothing from Macy's department store in the Oakbrook Center mall, DuPage County prosecutors said in a news release.

Shortly before, Gryer and Watson made off with $834 in clothing from Nordstrom department store in the mall, police said.
All four suspects were arrested without any problems, police said.

"These two cases exemplify the Oak Brook Police Department’s commitment to keeping our community safe," Oak Brook Police Chief Brian Strockis said in a news release. "It also shows how strong our partnership with loss prevention continues to be."
Each suspect is facing burglary and retail theft charges.
