60th Anniversary AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch Used Book Sale

July 25th-28th at Sandburg Middle School

The AAUW (American Association of University Women) Elmhurst Area Branch is hosting its 60th annual Used Book Sale July 25th-28th at a NEW LOCATION - Sandburg Middle School in Elmhurst (345 E. St. Charles Road).

Thousands of books (hard and soft cover) are available to purchase, as well as CDs and DVDs. Donated entirely by the community and sorted into over 30 categories, the sale includes a large children’s section, as well as parent/teacher resources, collector’s books, cookbooks, travel, history, self-help, the arts, sports, and much more. There is also be a section of books from the York English Department 2019/20 Reading List. A list of books received from the York reading list can be found on our website.

Cash and checks only – no credit or debit cards will be accepted.

· Sunday, July 28th 11:00pm-3:00pm - FREE Admission - $10 Bag Sale

Fill a grocery bag (AAUW provided) with books and media for only $10. Collectors books and coffee table books are not included in this offer, but they are specially priced on Sunday.

The AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch is a not-for-profit organization. Proceeds from the sale of books from the Annual Used Book Sale benefit local AAUW scholarships and national AAUW programs and research for women and girls.
