Elmhurst police were called July 10 to Jewel Foods on East Schiller to investigate 98-year-old woman suspected of shoplifting.Police reported she had walked through Jewel eating food off the shelves, and they found her across the street.The elderly woman was not prosecuted, but she was served with a no trespass order, according to Elmhurst police.She seemed confused, so medics were called. The medics determined the woman was fine, and she was released at the scene.
