AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch February Meeting/Program

Historic Dramatization:

Actress and scholar, Leslie Goddard, PhD., will present her dramatic portrayal of Amelia Earhart, the first woman aviator to first cross the Atlantic Ocean in an airplane and then pilot herself across the Atlantic Ocean by airplane.

Her courageous exploits and charismatic personality made Amelia an international celebrity. She mysteriously disappeared while attempting an around-the-world flight in June of 1937.

This program is free, open to the public, and co-sponsored by the Elmhurst Public Library.
