AAUW Used Book Sale Donations

June 18th through July 30th

The AAUW (American Association of University Women) Elmhurst Area Branch will hold its annual Collection Drive for gently used books (hardcovers and paperbacks), CDs and DVDs from June 18th through July 30th. We do not accept VHS tapes, cassettes, magazines, or old textbooks.

Bring your donations to the collection barrels with the familiar yellow signs at any of the following locations:

  • Jewel-Osco (Butterfield and York)
  • Elmhurst Park District Courts Plus (186 S. West Avenue) - inside the front door of the Courts
  • Elmhurst Public Library (125 S. Prospect Avenue)
  • Lincoln Elementary School (565 S. Fairfield Avenue)
***NEW THIS YEAR - DRIVE-UP/DROP OFF***
Books may be dropped off at Lincoln School Entrance #10 between 9:30-11:30am on Saturdays ONLY from June 24th through July 29th. This entrance is on the south side of the school.

SALE LOCATION: The AAUW Used Book Sale will be held on August 3rd-6th at Lincoln Elementary School in Elmhurst (565 S. Fairfield).

AAUW is a not-for-profit organization. Proceeds from the sale of books are used to fund local and national AAUW scholarships, research, and programs for women and girls.
