AAUW Used Book Sale Donations

Through Saturday, July 28th

The AAUW (American Association of University Women) Elmhurst Area Branch continues its Collection Drive for gently used books (hardcovers and paperbacks), CDs and DVDs through Saturday, July 28th. We do accept York English department paperbacks, but we do not accept VHS tapes, cassettes, magazines, or old textbooks.

Bring your donations to the collection barrels with the familiar yellow signs at any of the following locations:

  • Jewel-Osco (Butterfield and York) – inside the store
  • Elmhurst Park District Courts Plus (186 S. West Avenue) - inside the front door of the Courts
  • Elmhurst Public Library (125 S. Prospect Avenue)
  • Lincoln Elementary School (565 S. Fairfield Avenue) - outside the front entrance

***DRIVE-UP/DROP OFF***

Books may also be dropped off at Lincoln School Entrance #10 between 9:30-11:30am on Wednesdays and Saturdays through Saturday, July 28th. This entrance is on the south side of the school.

SALE LOCATION: The AAUW Used Book Sale will be held on August 2nd-5th at Lincoln Elementary School in Elmhurst (565 S. Fairfield).

AAUW is a not-for-profit organization. Proceeds from the sale of books are used to fund local scholarships and national AAUW research, and programs for women and girls.
