Add a touch of Holiday Magic to your week

Elmhurst Historical Museum hosts a local artisan showcase on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.

Add a little ”ho-ho-ho” to your holidays by dropping by the Elmhurst Historical Museum for an evening of Holiday Magic! Holiday Magic is a showcase of local artisans who will share their holiday traditions and demonstrate some of their creative holiday decorating, baking and gift-making techniques. The participating Elmhurst artisans include: Karen Exiner (original holiday cards and present decorations), Marilyn Arado (holiday recipes), Linda Mierendorf (hand-painted ornaments), Georgia Dolan (table centerpieces) and Lynn Baralt of Baralt Landscaping (outdoor holiday decor). Curator Lance Tawzer will lead a tour of the “By All Accounts: The Story of Elmhurst” exhibit in the museum’s second floor gallery. The Museum is open late on Third Thursdays from 5-8 p.m. Refreshments will be on served, so pop over for some holiday cheer! Free admission to museum and showcase in the Education Center.
