ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving trespassing at a church, a dispute over a truck, a domestic disturbance, a stolen semi-truck, disorderly conduct and two men pushing each other. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Church trespasser
A man trespassed at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 123 E. St. Charles Road, about 2 p.m. Monday. He was escorted off the property. Officers tried to find the man. He was described as white, 40 to 55 years old. 6-foot-2, having thinning buzz cut hair, and wearing a white shirt with a graphic design on the front and shorts with a camouflage and plaid design.

Super Ego said the truck was in a tow yard and would be driven back to Illinois in the next few days. The woman would be able to retrieve her items once the truck was back. The driver filed the report Monday.
Domestic disturbance
Police responded to a domestic disturbance about noon Tuesday in the 900 block of South Spring Road. A woman said another person pushed her after being told to leave the property. The other person said the woman was acting aggressively. The woman left the property.
Stolen semi-truck
Police were told at noon Monday about a suspicious blue semi-truck parked behind Mobil gas station, 1000 N. York St. The truck was reported to have been stolen in Tennessee. An officer provided the owner with the truck's status.
Pump and run
A person pumped gasoline and sped away without paying about 8:30 p.m. Monday at BP gas station, 217 E. Butterfield Road. An investigation is pending.
Disorderly conduct
A woman tried to buy cigarettes without identification about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shell gas station, 654 W. North Ave. When she was denied, the woman became angry with the gas station clerk, used foul and offensive language, and threw a fountain drink behind the counter. An investigation is pending. The woman was described as black, 34 years old, 6 feet, 240 pounds, having long braided hair, and wearing a white shirt and jeans.
Pushing
After receiving a fireworks complaint, officers saw two men pushing each other in a driveway about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of West Comstock Avenue. The men did not wish to sign complaints and refused to cooperate with officers.
Fraudulent checks
Suspects tried to cash seven checks fraudulently between June 26 and July 5 at TransChicago Truck Group, 776 N. York St. The checks were rejected. An investigation is pending.
Trespassing
A person was sleeping about 1 p.m. Wednesday inside Guac N Tacos, 116 S. York St. The person was given a no-trespass notice.
