ELMHURST, IL – Jim Rogers, the longtime executive director of the Elmhurst Park District, is on track to get an $8,000 bonus.
That's in addition to his total compensation package of $239,257, which includes the employer's part of his health insurance.
The park board plans to vote on the bonus at its meeting Monday. The bonus is included in a proposed amendment to Rogers' contract.
In a memo this week, Claire Kubiesa, the park board's vice president, said members completed Rogers' annual performance evaluation and discussed his contract and compensation behind closed doors last week.
She said the board reached a consensus on the bonus.
She said the board's lawyer, Andrew Paine, has reviewed the contract amendment.
Rogers started as executive director in 2012. Before that, he served the district in a variety of positions, starting in 1994.
