In the search, police said they have used drones, K-9s, bloodhounds, a helicopter and boats.

On Thursday, about 75 Elmhurst and mutual aid officers and firefighters performed a daylong search of both the east and west stone quarry zones, using brush tools, K-9s, boats, side scan sonar and an underwater drone, police said.

Authorities said they covered both the rocky, foliage-covered terrain and the flooded water retention areas.

De Sagun is described as Asian, 5-foot-10, tall and thin, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap, a dark green and blue shirt, and dark blue jeans.

Anyone having contact with De Sagun or someone matching his description is asked to call 911. Anyone with a tip about his whereabouts should contact Elmhurst police at 630-530-3050.
