Elmhurst Parents Say No (patch.com) — Elmhurst parents are intensifying their campaign against increased classroom screen use, criticizing District 205 for issuing iPads to kindergartners and not responding to concerns at board meetings. Speakers urged a common-sense policy that eliminates screens for the youngest students and limits screentime for older children, saying their lived experiences with technology's downsides are being ignored.
3. Elmhurst School Official Declines To Back Principal Recruiter (patch.com) — Elmhurst District 205 is moving ahead with a $14,500 contract for a recruiting firm to find York High School's next principal, though one board member declined to back the choice. The decision follows recent interim principal appointments at York and Sandburg Middle School, raising concerns about leadership stability for Elmhurst students.
4.
