Big trucks and big fun! Climb and explore a variety of vehicles at Elmhurst Park District's Touch a Truck in Berens Park. Free admission. Visit 9 am-Noon. The first hour will be a quiet hour designed for kids who love trucks, but not the noise.
Plus, you won't want to miss the iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, which will be at this year's event!
Date and Time: Saturday, September 5, 9 am-Noon (9-10 am will be a quiet hour. That hour will be horn, flashing lights and siren free.)
Location: Berens Park's east parking lot, 493 N. Oaklawn Avenue.
Parking: At Berens Park's west parking lot.
The Park District is inviting the community to leave their mark on an exciting project during Touch a Truck. McHugh + Nacional will be bringing a large beam for residents to sign. The beam will later be installed in the new Wagner Community Center, creating a lasting reminder of the community that helped make this project possible.
