On Thursday January 26th, players of the Chicago Steel helped out at the Bensenville McDonald's during Raffle Mania! Customers have been filling out raffle tickets for weeks to win several prizes including Chicago Steel Jerseys during Raffle Mania! Jimmy DeVito-age 17, who attends Lake Park School in Bloomingdale will be going to RPI in Troy NY on a Hockey Scholarship. Jeff Kubiak age 18, and Alex Sakellaropoulos age 17, attend Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park. Rusty the Chicago Steel Mascot even helped out at the drive-thru.
The next big event for the Chicago Steel is 2/18 and 2/19, Puck Cancer Night Special Jerseys are worn and auctioned off for Puck Cancer Charity which supports breast cancer research.
