Apple Pipe Packer Arrested for Possession

A 7-11 employee called Elmhurst police May 23 to report a man was packing an apple pipe in the business’ parking lot on East First Street.

The apple pipe was sitting in the man’s lap when officers arrived, according to police.

The man, Evan R Kristov, age 21 of the 100 block of Elm Tree Lane, Elmhurst, also had two Xanax pills, police reported.

Kristov was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. He was brought to the county jail.
