Area Fashion Retailer Opens In Elmhurst, Say It's For Women Of All Ages

ELMHURST, IL – A Chicago-area women's fashion retailer has opened a store in downtown Elmhurst.

Jayne Boutique announced its newest location at 124 N. York St. It is its seventh location.

Established in 2012, Jayne is known for a curated selection of shoes, clothing and accessories, along with a personalized shopping experience, according to a news release.

Jayne plans to celebrate the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m. Oct. 14. The public is invited.

According to the news release, the store's merchandise combines current trends with versatile styles designed for women of all ages.

"It's about making connections, building community and having fun," the company's president, Katie Cummings, said in the release. "We look forward to helping every woman find something that feels uniquely her and building personal relationships with our customers."

The other Jayne stores are in La Grange, Glen Ellyn, Oak Park, Geneva and Lake Geneva. The company also has a Jayne outlet store in Lake Geneva.
