Auditions for Elmhurst Children's Theatre Production of Willy Wonka

This scrumdidilyumptious musical is guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth!

Auditions are open to children who live in Elmhurst or attend school in Elmhurst from grades 5 though 8. The auditions take place in 15-minute slots on Monday, Nov. 18 between 5:30 to 9 PM. Callbacks are Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 5:30 to 9 PM. The show takes place February 14, 15 & 16 at Bryan Middle School.

For your audition, please prepare a 30-second to one minute MEMORIZED monologue (this may be from a play, movie, book, etc.).  Choose something that shows a character you can act and perform. You should also prepare about 32 measures of a song, to be sung a cappella (without piano or recorded music).  That means about one verse or  chorus, or about 30 seconds of singing.  You may sing anything you want that you feel shows off your voice well.

Your monologue and song may be from Willy Wonka, but it does not have to be.

Please complete and submit the Online Permission Form on the Audition Page of the ECT website.
