On the Beat With GreenMan Theatre Troupe's Scott and Elizabeth

Yesterday, I interviewed Scott and Elizabeth from the GreenMan Theatre Troupe. Most people will recognize them from a different entertainment field, but today I am focusing on their newest entertainment endeavor.

Many folks know them as wrestling power couple Joey Roth and Roxi Heart. Along with The World Famous Fabulous Idols, Joey and Roxi are making splashes all over the wrestling scene, especially in Rocket Pro Wrestling in Joliet, Illinois.

Their talents are not limited to the wrestling ring though. This Friday, Joey and Roxi will take the stage as The GreenMan Theatre Troupe presents William Shakespeare's "The Tempest." Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 6, Scott, Elizabeth and the other talented folks from The GreenMan Theatre Troupe will delight audiences with their performance of the William Shakespeare classic.

This isn't the first foray into acting for Scott and Elizabeth. Both have impressive resumes. They actually met because of acting. They tell those stories and others much better in the video than I can in writing.

Written around 1610, "The Tempest" is one of Shakespeare's last plays. Mixing comedy, magic and romance with themes of loss, forgiveness, revenge and freedom, "The Tempest" has been called a comedy, tragedy, romance and more. It runs the gamut of emotion and elicits the same from the audience.

Having known Scott and Elizabeth for many years, I know how talented they are. I have seen them captivate audiences on the pro wrestling scene. I have no doubt they will deliver that same passion in "The Tempest" and I look forward to seeing it live.
